Questions people ask
01What’s the difference between Focuz X, X1 and X2?
Focuz X is camera-first with no display: photos, video, an AI assistant and open-ear audio. Focuz X1 flips that — a right-eye waveguide display and no camera, for captions, notifications and AI answers. Focuz X2 combines both (2027).
02When will I get my Focuz X?
Pre-orders are open. The first batch ships in the order deposits arrive — we tell pioneers the ship date as soon as the batch is ready. X1 follows after.
03Is the camera always recording?
No. Focuz X captures only when you press a button, speak a command or touch it — and the privacy LED on the frame lights up while it does.
04Does X1 have a camera?
No — on purpose. X1 is display-first, so you can wear it where privacy matters. If you want a camera, that’s Focuz X — or X2 later.
05I wear prescription glasses — can I use them?
Yes. For Focuz X you get an eye exam at Focuz Optics and prescription lenses are fitted. For X1, drop-in lenses matched to the waveguide optics (single-vision and progressive) are being developed.
06How long does the battery last?
Focuz X: up to 7 hours of music or ~4 hours of talk (300 mAh) — a full day of mixed use. Charges over USB-C in about 2 hours.
07Which languages does the AI speak?
The AI in the Focuz App is designed for Uzbek, Russian and English. It runs in the cloud, so new languages can be added without a firmware update.
08How does the deposit work?
You pay 50% of the price as a deposit: 300 000 so‘m for Focuz X (full price 600 000) or 1 750 000 so‘m for X1 (full price 3 500 000). It comes off the final price; the rest is paid on delivery.
09Can I get my deposit back?
Yes — it’s fully refundable any time before your unit ships. Just message @focuz_support on Telegram.
10Is it water-resistant?
Focuz X is IPX4: it handles sweat, rain and splashes. It isn’t made for showers or swimming.
